Summer of 2010

Well the dragons have been tamed, the chefs at Bannatyne’s Charlton house in Shepton Mallet have enthusiastically embraced Fussels oil and Deborah and I are sorting out a date for her to come and see us. On top of that, I can’t believe how many people watched the show and recognised me and the brand, we only had about 2 minutes of coverage but I suppose that just shows the power of publicity.

Where on earth did March and April go ? It must be my age ! Time just seems to fly by, however ,if you put that comment into political terms,13 years seems like an awfully long time for the last government to have been in power.

Febuary 10

Hello or should i say G'day,

I took the family away over Christmas and new year to ,yes you've guessed already AUSTRALIA ! Trip of a lifetime ! We had been saving up for and looking forward to this trip for about a year and it did not disappoint ! Flew into Sydney,couple of days there ,then flew to Brisbane where we picked up a hire car to start our adventure up the east coast to eventually end up at the top at Port Douglas.

April

Hello there , how are you all doing? I have to apologise for the lateness of this April blog.

March

Another month has disappeared as quickly as it arrived, I’m told due to my age. But I’m hoping that it’s partly due to the tremendous weather we have had during March.

February

Thankfully, the end of February turned out to be much better that the beginning, depending on whether you are a fan of snow or not. I love the look of snow and the landscape that is created, but the mayhem that it causes with flooding, etc I can do without.

January

January, a new month, a new year, a new start! Well ,well ,what a treat to have a cold couple of weeks .We’ve had some beautiful frosty mornings with blue sky and the trees standing proud in their white sparkling ermine whilst the brightly coloured cock pheasants jauntily strut their stuff through the crisp, white, frozen grass.
