Soon after I introduced my Rapeseed oil, I realised that there were a lot of people just like me, people who enjoy good quality, simple English food, so I thought it was about time I did something about it. After some deep thinking over a couple of pints in the local, I worked out a rough sketch of what I wanted to do, and this is what I wrote.
Pleased with myself, I then had a lot of fun thinking up all sorts of recipe ideas (although it has to be said that my poor grasp of kitchen fundamentals did lead me up some blind alleys!) and finally after some impromptu and thoroughly enjoyable tasting sessions with various members of my family and willingly recruited friends, I came up with the final list for my new range.
Classic Mayonnaise, Mint Mayonnaise, Herb Dressing and Quince and Cider Vinegar Dressing.
It was soon clear that the range was making it's mark and due to popular demand it has been growing ever since. First there was my light and bright Sunflower oil, then came the Beer and Horseradish sauce (if you want a clue as to why I called it F.G.S have a look at the F.G.S product page!), and now we have a Somerset Chilli oil, an English Garlic oil and a fantastic gift box.
I am very proud of my products and once you have tried them I know you will love them as much as I do. To find out more about them, just click on the individual product pictures above.
"I love the nutty flavour of Fussel’s Rapeseed Oil and I affectionately call it my British Olive Oil I use it at the cookery school, not only to lightly dress salads and for marinades, but also for the best roast potatoes and extraordinarily crisp pastry for my savoury pies. I whip up the most delicious instant breakfast muffins using this wonderfully versatile oil. This fabulous oil is permanently in my store cupboard and is one of my favourites."

"Great for cooking and drizzling, chilli oil strengths can vary widely. Some oils register barely a tingle while others while others are hot enough to give you a real jolt. We were blown away by Fussels Somerset chilli oil, a medium-hot oil made with extra virgin rapeseed oil and locally-grown chillies."
