Due to popular demand and because I’ve always wanted to have a go at growing them, I planted my first crop of Sunflowers in the spring of 2008. As you can see from the photos they looked so great, they even brought a smile to my face!.

The first pressing took place in November and the results far and away exceeded my wildest expectations. When you try Fussels Sunflower oil, you too will discover a beautifully clear, light and lightly fragrant oil that just says summertime!

Like my Rapeseed oil, it is extra virgin oil and cold pressed -an excellent alternative to olive oil. AS the nutrient breakdown shows, it has a positive fat profile and offers a fantastic source of Omega 6.
