Pulled Pork

Serve in a bun, sandwich or as a taco with pickled onions, simple avocado and sweetcorn salsa and a hot sauce!

Ingredients

  • Pork shoulder, 1.5kg
  • 2 tablespoons of white miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons of Fussels Smoked Rapeseed oil

Method

Preheat the oven to 150C

Combine the miso, oil, syrup and bourbon

Stab the pork shoulder liberally with a knife and pour the sauce over

Cover with foil and place in the preheated oven

After 3 hours, remove the foil

Check after 4 hours, the meat should be falling apart easily

If it is still tough, put it back in the oven and check every 20 minutes

Once ready, pull apart with a couple of forks and leave to sit in the juices to rest for 10 minutes
